Right outside the temple, this scenic lake was built by the last Kandyan king and is perfect for a peaceful walk.

Wear modest clothing: shoulders and knees must be covered.
Remove hats and shoes before entering the temple.
🙏 Respect the Sacredness:
This is a functioning place of worship. Maintain silence and behave respectfully.
Photography is not allowed inside the inner shrine room.
⏰ Visit During Puja Times:
Rituals take place three times daily: around 5:30 AM, 9:30 AM, and 6:30 PM.
Visiting during these times gives you a chance to see the casket of the relic being displayed.

Expect security checks at the entrance. Large bags may need to be left at the counter.
🚫 No Smoking / Food:
Smoking and eating are strictly prohibited inside the temple premises.
